Hi, i was looking at one of the kits, and i was going to finish my purchase, but when i updated the address the spring sale was removed Will probably review my setup in the spring and possibly get rid of ring for one of its competitors if it's still the same On google, it says it ends may 1, what's wrong here

Ring spotlight cam + solar not working, reporting 208% phantom battery I don't want police or fire dispatch just having the alerts would be useful I have had a spotlight cam + solar panel up for a while (i think installed it last spring)

It was working great, charge was always topped off for the single battery i had in the camera

The camera itself was very protected from the elements as it was mounted to the underside of an overhang over our backporch (at least 7. To my memory i have read somewhere that it was suppose to come out in spring Have you received feedback from other ring users on 24/7 recording for doorbell and for plug in cameras. Today i installed a new transformer and two ring doorbell wired for a neighbor's relative

I upgraded their transformer to 24v 40va I then went in their chime box to install the jumper wires betwe. I use it for beading the condensation we get on our cars here every morning during the fall/winter/spring colder seasons and works extremely well It doesn’t just clean it, it leaves a microscopic layer of protection, hence you don’t get water staying on the surface.

Well i guess i’ll see how long the batteries last on these 2 cams, i’m hoping till spring but i doubt it

I’m extremely disappointed in this setup and lack of plain, prominent, installation information that comes with the cam and solar panels. Starting 11 march 2024, ring have increased their subscription, the basic plan has risen from £25 to £35 and now to£49.99/year per device.i for one am going to stop purchasing and fitting their pro. I had a ring video doorbell (2nd generation) installed in circa 2021 or later I had an analog doorbell chime box inside the house, which was connected to the doorbell transformer

I found that there are 2 small spring loaded pins inside the unit that make contact with 2 screw terminal posts on the back casing However, i noticed only one of the pins was extended. I've decided i won't be adding to my ring devices until the playing field is levelled up
