Kodi v21.2 omega is now available Both my tcl c809 (dolby vision supported) and lg c1 tv won’t switch to dolby vision yet so far (as in the (in)famous dolby logo popping up when activating dolby vision) it’s still stuck on hdr despite the instructions written below. I was using kodi with pleasure with previous webos versions but today i just updated my television ( 65g26la) to new version ( 23.20.56) and noticed that kodi is not working anymore I deleted it and installed again from homebrew store but results didn't change I wanted inform you and also wanted to warning the users who use kodi to about new firmware. I notice that it's possible to run jellyfin as media server and kodi as media client and that there is 2 ways of doing so

The question is what is the best choice in my case? I am wondering why nvidia tv shield pro doesn't update to kodi android 21.2 (omega)? I’m a bit confused about a dlna server I know you can run some on a nas like plex or jellyfin

I thought kodi could be a server but some say no it’s a player

Is it a server and if so how would one use it Can it go on a nas too If you using say shield can it run from shield as a server and a player?if it’s not a server why do some think it is I think i just went cross eyed

However trying some sample content out with those audio formats via kodi results in no audio playing at all for me The same files play just fine on my amazon firestick 4k with the same.
